Product strategy
Anything is possible, but time and resources are finite. Focused on what matters for the success of your product, we help you zero in on what to build and when.
User experience (UX) design
We start with a competitive analytics and feature list, and move into user stories and customer interview. Finally, we build out detailed wireframes for every screen, and interactive prototypes.
User interface
(UI) design
Once all the user flows have been wireframed, we move into hi-fidelity design and try to make every screen simple but delightful.
Interface development
We start by converting all hi-fidelity screens into static components, and then tie them together with routing, animation and transitions, before moving on to add functionality. We build in React Native, iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin).
API development
We favor Python for writing APIs, and most often choose Django REST framework and PostgreSQL. We love well-documented APIs, and use Swagger and Postman to share knowledge across teams.
Interface integration
The most fun (and challenging!) part of any project is making the interface come alive by connecting it to the APIs.
Growth
We’ll layer in analytics and help you think through notifications (like email and push), so your product is as sticky and engaging as possible.
Our team
We’re a team of 22 designers, developers, growth specialists and product nerds. Everyone is full time, remote, and located across Canada. Our HQ is in Nanaimo but you can find us in places like Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, and Halifax. Every team member is talented, deeply experienced, and frankly lovely to work with.
